ETHAN'S BIRTHDAY

I simply cannot believe my blue eyes is SIX!!! How in the world did this happen so quickly?!?!? He is so big! He reminds me on a regular basis that he is not a little kid!! I am so proud of my Ethan! He is such a kind hearted, loving, intelligent and wonderful boy! He is also the best big brother in the world!!

For Ethan's birthday, we of course went to Cracker Barrel to eat. Ethan enjoyed his usual strawberry jelly and biscuit and big bowl of mac and cheese. He really loved the chocolate cobbler for a special birthday desert!

Ethan got his favorite chips, Sour cream and onion Pringles from Ms. Karen at church. It was so sweet of her to pick out such a special gift for Ethan!

Jon Jon was worn out after all of the birthday celebrations!!!

singing

Ethan and Jon Jon enjoying a snack after singing with the Cherub Choir at church. Ethan and Jon Jon love singing with Mrs. Amy!! We are so blessed to have Mrs. Amy teaching our children to love to praise the Lord through song!!

trikathon

Jon Jon had a fun morning riding at the trikathon at preschool. He is such a big boy!

fun with Mammy and Papa

The boys always have fun with Mammy and Papa at their house. Ethan loves to ride his bike down the big road and stop to collect rocks with Mammy. They also grab some rocks to throw in the creek. Jon Jon loves to help Papa in the yard, especially if a ride in the wheelbarrow is involved. Jon Jon also loves to spend time in the sandbox. It is hard to believe that Jon Jon did not like the sandbox when he first arrived home two years ago. He would not even get in it at first. Now we have a hard time getting him out of it!!!

Palm Sunday

In Sunday School, the boys learned about Jesus riding into the city and people waving palm branches.

During the worship service, the children got to bring palm branches in the sanctuary as we begin to celebrate Easter. Ethan and Jon Jon enjoyed this experience and love to tell the story of Jesus.

Easter Egg Hunt

The boys had a great time at the Easter Egg Hunt at our church.

EASTER 2009

Easter Sunday has always been my favorite holiday. I love what Jesus did on the cross for us! I am thankful each and everyday for the love of Christ and that He died for our sins. I also love that we celebrate the victory of Christ on Easter Sunday!!

Easter Sunday is also special because Ethan arrived early to surprise us on a very memorable day! I am thankful now that Joey and I get to celebrate such a special day with two very amazing boys!!! Here are some pics from Easter Sunday this year.
